MaHPIC Data and Metadata Management

NIAID contract period: September 2012 - September 2017

The data and metadata that comprise the results produced by each Experimental Team in the course of this contract were securely stored at the University of Georgia Data Center in both a data repository, for browsing and general access, and a relational database, for hypothesis-based programmatic retrieval.  The Informatics Core worked very closely with contract investigators to regularly receive data from each team and provide standardized data for use by MaHPIC researchers, and ultimately the broader scientific community. 

Data release to canonical public repositories was planned in a timely manner, concomitant with publication, and according to contract requirements.  For more information on the public release of project results, see the MaHPIC Research Page.
