Position Director, Yerkes Functional Genomics Team Assistant Professor, Emory Vaccine Center, Role in MaHPIC Dr. Bosinger is the Director of the Yerkes National Primate Research Center's Nonhuman Primate Genomics Core Laboratory (GenCore) with over 15 years of experience with a focus on genomics, transcriptomics, RNA-Seq and innate immunity. The Functional Genomics Core was founded in 2012 with the specific goal of providing a resource for non-human primate researchers to have access to high-throughput technology. Dr. Bosinger has been conducting studies using genomic technology in NHPs since 2000.
